found this 1928/1929 Hanley original scooter with pivoting chasis.

Even though I bought a light, battery can, and horn for my Flying Merkel I just couldn't bring myself to clutter it up. This license tag I couldn't pass up though. This bike was originally discovered in Hanover, PA which is about 19 miles SW of York, PA so I thought it was fitting--thanks @buck hughes for this piece. V/r Shawn

picked up a couple of westfields last week ,one was supposed to be a parts bike,kind of a throw in to the deal.well I need to find more of these throw ins!!

Coolest thing I've gotten in a while, one of my bikes made the front page of a local newspaper! Some of you may have seen my post in the Swap Meets, Events, and Rides forum for Bicycle Night in Warren MI every Tuesday night. Well a couple weeks ago they had a reporter from C&G newspapers along with a photographer at Bicycle Night. C&G puts out a local newspaper for each local city, and this story was in the Warren Weekly. The paper came out on July 18 but I was finally able to get a copy this week.

Added 4 more knives to my collection

Estate sale finds, skip tooth chain and Bevin bell. Believe it or not I actually spotted the bell in the pictures online. The chain is mostly used chain, with 3 master links, and a small section of nos chain, with a nice box for a display piece.

Picked up a vintage drop forged steel 18" crescent wrench to add to my collection

And a Lansky guided knife sharpening system. Figured if I'm gonna collect / use them, I had better learn how to sharpen them too.
