Well when it rains, it pours I guess. Found the purple Guaranty Enforcer on marketplace for a good price. Get there, and before I could ask if he had any more bikes, he said he had another one hanging in the garage. Made a package deal and bought both.
On the way there, I found a nice girls 20" huffy in the trash, which I'll give to a friend that gives bikes to kids.

😃

at first glance thought the Guaranty might be a '67

then noticed that the Huret pulleys appear to be all metal

'66 was the year they received their plastic "tyres" so cycle slightly earlier

the Weinmann brake caliper arms show us it cannot be as far back as '64 so it must be a '65

While not very CABE oriented I have been in the market for a BMX Cruiser recently, more specifically a JTT 3-Bar…

Coincidentally my Thursday lunch spot was late opening so I wandered past my local “hand built” bicycle shop and spotted some anodizing hanging from the ceiling.

Soon after I was the proud owner of an awesome, fully assembled and ripping, Basset Racing, Star Cruiser that had been built up by the shop owner a few years ago for himself.

It is such a NICE riding bicycle.

Gear Rundown:
Profile Hubs front & rear
Profile BMX Cranks
DMK “Next Generation” Pedals
Profile made GT Piston Stem 80mm
Velocity Cliffhanger Rims
White Industries Freewheel
Axxis DTH 2.25" Tires
Moonmen Titanium Handlebar
ODI Vans Grips
Brooks C-19 Saddle
Avid Ultimate Speed Dial Levers
Paul Components Cantilever Brakes
Phil Wood Red Seat Collar Clamp
Chris King Patriot Headset

I got a AMI Constellation 2 stereo 200 select juke box delivered from a pal Larry I know out East. It's been converted to solid state/bluetooth ( still have the tube amp) so it will play the 45's or Spotify selections I can activate from my phone. Pretty cool. Quite a rare unit. Looks like a space ship or a Satellite. My friend Larry is squeezing it through the doorway. A whole 1/2" clearance!! I put a 2023 Special edition chrome series gas tank on my 2024 Triumph Bonneville 1200 Bobber. ( for Bob). I totally dig the old school wing emblems and rubber knee pads like my '69.

Also had my Grandson Jaylen over yesterday for some driver training. My Son's G/F (Jaylens Mom) was hosting her Sister's visit from Paris ( in the blue dress/me with my arm over....lol...) Jaylen drove the Marx battery car in the picture ( yes, right into the juke box..ha!!) and we all took a ride in my '50 Studebaker as well. I took the JC Higgins colorflow for a ride on Friday too. I also added a repro ( originals were made in Japan) hand crafted all wood battery op Rocket boat by Rick at RC Craft. Also added the Rambler Marlin Corgi Kayak and camping trailer gift set to my Corgi collection.

They had just come from the Zoo. Yes, the polar bears are real. You watch them in their outdoor enviroment from a plexi ( we are in a cage for a change?) as are the sea lions.

Yes, Lester seems like the kinda guy you wanna meet, as 99% of the people on here are. He seems so genuine and gets very cool stuff. You proved that!!

Oh boy! I'm fresh on the scene, hasn't even been a week. I know next to nothing when it comes to the antique bicycles scene. I came across this collection for sale and I know cool when I see it. The all seem to hold some sort of value in some way. Most of the tanks and chain guards were removed for storage by the previous owner. My buddy and i.just dove in head first and I'm loving every minute of it! Wish me luck 😅😅
