I got some good stuff this week!
Another ladies Westfield (I believe a 40) and from the same gentleman and son I ALSO got; a steel 1971 Corvette rim a COOL creepy porcelain handled 20s? leather chair..I found plenty of barber chairs with these arms but no "regular" chairs.?
Some great comics! Cap 117 (first Falcon) and a hard Batman in the condition among others..
I scored an Evel Knievel lot off ebay! 3 bikes and a funny car.. 3 NOS flag holders CHEAP! I picked up another early Ben Cooper Frankenstein mask and costume locally! .I got a ND tool from Mr.McCaskey a NOS of discs off ebay and another ND 2 speed from Badbob !
But the most important piece Ive picked up in quite some time; a painting by my great uncle Warren Boucher. A friend of mine who is an antique dealer/collector,went to look at an estate and saw the painting(Unsigned) and the topic that it came from the old Four Seasons restaurant in town years ago..he put 2 and 2 together and called me..The man was having a yard sale so went down and got the painting..VERY worse for wear,as it actually came out of the trash(Likely my uncle didnt like how it was progressing and just started over..
Theres even a painting on the other side thats been covered up with green paint. The man said he was helping my uncle do a roofing repair and saw it in the trash from the roof and grabbed it!
I believe this was the beginning painting for what turned into the "Lobsterman rowing a Grand Banks dory,outrunning a storm"
So..THRILLED to have it, and!I grabbed a new nice bike pump there for $10!

Oh yeah! no joke..I almost forgot..On my way to get the painting..I saw a man putting out some 4x8 sheets of wood...UHG..I was in a hurry/almost there to get the painting.🥺 so I kept going.. I figured Id look on my way home.. Sure enough EIGHT NEW 4x8 sheets!! 5 of sanded plywood,2 of 5/8 and 1 OSB..all new..And 5 boxes of marble tile..jeeze! So a pretty good week Id say!
