Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Hope everyone is enjoying the last of the summer.
Can't believe Fall is official in 29 days.

Let's see what relics you've found from the past week.
Whether, it be bike related or not.
Please, include pictures as we do love pictures!

Soapbox find yesterday!
This was one of the better made cars. Back in the day, Chevrolet offered the hardware kits thru their dealerships. The kits included The stamped "Official Soapbox Derby" wheels, axles, and steering hardware. The guys even upholstered (roll and pleat) the seat on this one. originally raced numerous times.

Picked up this teens era Piece Racer on Friday. Buffalo made. It’s loaded with cool antique upgrades including a 1920s Bianchi crankset, Brooks saddle (I believe it is a B19), Major Taylor style handlebar stem and bars, and mounts for a frame-mounted pump. Still doing my research on the unusual frame and who might have raced it back in the day.

I traded these 2 bikes last year for an '41 Elgin Twin Bar I sold for a few years & restored about 30 years back. This week, a local collector/friend/Cabe member has an automotive project he wanted funding for, so I stepped up and bought the Panther and Rolly back. Now I have my Elgin TB and Schwinn Panther and Rollfast back in the collection. The Rollfast ( fellow who owned it actually took it out to California for a Cabe ride last year on a road trip/still has some beach sand on it/then installed some vintage sweet painted/striped wheels) has about a 30 year history with me too, a pal, and ex-Brother in law, and was stolen, captured by a good samaritan about 5 years back ( kinda like the Pee Wee herman movie) from some punk, and taken to a bike shop where I used to work ( had a tiny decal with shop name) identified as mine, and returned.
