Saw a great show and picked up this poster to add to my “concerts we went to” poster collection. Brought the family and watched the kids boogie down.

I picked these two up based on some questionable photos with the Cruiser in the background. The price was certainly right to not ask questions though!

I was hoping the black cruiser was an 82 like I've been looking for, but it turned out to be an 81, so that one will probably get detailed and I'll have a little fun with it before I put up for trade or sale. I would have left the ladies bike, but it was one of those "both or nothing" deals. Plus I figured it would earn some money to put towards a down payment on a Positron cable for the cruiser.

Didn't realize there were goodies in the bag until I got home and saw the wind tried to tear it apart. Surprised nothing seemed to blow out. Found a full generator set with what looks like just "shelf wear." There was also a pair of hippy chic sunglasses, one corroded Marlboro Menthol, and one toothpick of a joint...she must have been saving up for a special occasion! Lol The best part was at the bottom there was a red lock blending in with the bag that I almost didn't notice. Went to throw the bag away and said hhmm, there's still some weight in here. It was left unlocked too! I'll just have to clean the corroded bag funk off of it.

Unfortunately someone let the bikes sit out long enough for the control cables to seize. With some lube, I got them all working with the exception of the exploded positron cable. Can you believe the light worked?

I put the Traveler 3 up for sale as is(goodie bag removed), but the only bite I got on it was some lady offering $30. For that price, I'm just going to part it out. The derailleur will be of more use than the $30 offer.

The rack on the back of the Cruiser is semi-nifty in the fact that it has a basket that folds up out of the way.

Plus it has a pair of bolts that also happen to fit sissybar clamps...

The thing that I thought was odd about this bike is that while it is a 5 speed, it doesn't have the drum brake in the rear. Was this something that went away part way through 81? Or were there more than coaster and 5sp options?

As a Bonus, the bike came with the controversial PAPERCLIP still installed!!!

Been waiting over a week to do this. Early yesterday morning my daughter and I took a road trip from Green Bay Wisconsin down to Chicago and picked up a few things. Great weather, nice drive down, traffic was smooth sailin. We went down there to pick up 3 bikes but left with several other cool things.. A 39 Dx(NFS) looks like original owner of bike was fan of 1942 featherweight boxer Willie Pep, note stickers on tank😎, A 53 20” Hornet with tank(rare), girls Ross. Bonus items were Busch Pool table light, Pabst Neon sign, new bait caster rod n reel, aluminum meat grinder, ice block grabber, and a Coca Cola cooler. Awesome day!
