Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Good morning folks.
Hope with weather permitting you have a post Labor day ride planned.
It'll be a while before and muster a trip.
Had my left leg amputated 9/7.
Doubt I'll be doing a ride in awhile.
but still am collecting

So let's see what classics you have found from the past week. Whether it be bike related or not. Please include pictures as we do love pictures.

Electric powered antiques are my next step. Good thing I already have done one on this 37 Hawthrone

@Jesse McCauley and I have been working on this bell project for awhile. Jesse bought a stash of original bell top patterns. We had these cast in a very limited number and they will be available for sale only until we run out. They were cast using bell bronze and have an amazing tone quality.

In other exciting news, an earlier Shaw engine came my way. Huge thanks to Aaron, Tom & Cheryl, and Dave the Wave who helped make this happen! @ratrodz @buck hughes My wheels are turning as to what bicycle and how I will build this out!

No bike stuff this week but did get a watch I’ve been looking for. This is a ca. 1957 Elgin “golf ball” jump hour watch. I have another band on the way but other than that it keeps excellent time and is something different for the collection.

So, sorry to hear about your amputation, JD.
I hope that surgery rectified whatever the cause of that was.
Hang in there, and know, that we are all behind you, 100%.
Look at the bright side,
Classic and Antique Bicycle Electrics are the next big thing, so your on the ground floor.
Here is a really neat, Electric Aerocycle, that @OC54 built awhile back.
This thing is about as cool as it gets, and,
It’s got a tank light!
