TOC Wheel-driven bell.
Anyone have a photo of the complete fork clamp, that it’s missing?

Looks like an early Schwinn stand. Bet you could sell it and get 2-3 correct ones for her bike.
Is there a way to tell for sure? What year do you think it's from? All I new was it looked better than the modern kickstand I had on it before. Even the holes lined up perfect on the fenders. I'm not real familiar with the early schwinn's.

Sweet, a Golden Phantom with matching grips! What's the serial/year @THEGOLDENGREEK

Here's the serial number , plus I spoke with my friend and said it's original paint ..he told me Schwinn layed gold flake down before the red paint on it. It's just faded away paint! The seat post decal is there and the pinstripes are all there.

I went to an auction to try to grab a bike and ran into a few other SoCal bike guys. They had a connection to the bike and I really didn't need it, so I backed out. But....I was able to pick up a few little goodies before I left.

The best gift a father could get. His son getting interested and working on bikes. My old 1952 Black Panther surf bike which was totally covered in bushes, vines, and rust. He pulled it out. Cleaned it up, and did his first rattle can job. Freakin awesome! He’s 12. Nice job dude!!!

This was last weeks bush pull out and resurrection. Old Cannondale that now lives as a single speed cruiser.

Wife went to the county fair with the kids and got me the cool man cave sign. Thanks babe!

Got this plaque from work. I hit 20 years in January and thought maybe they forgot about me.....nope. Better late than never.

Hope everyone has a great upcoming week!

Thanks for the additional pics and serial! Serial stamped sometime from 3-14 to 3-30-1955. For the life of me I can't understand why the experts keep saying Schwinn never used a gold base under the Opal colors, at least the Red when it's so obvious. It's a known fact that Red tint in candy has a very short life span especially when it's exposed to the UV rays. Even the custom auto painters will tell you the red candy is good for only 5 years before it starts to vanish. That's a whole lot of gold base on your Phantom @THEGOLDENGREEK. Would you please post in my thread that's about this subject? ----------------------> https://thecabe.com/forum/threads/schwinn-base-coat.155633/
