Excellent Survivor Schwinn lightweight from the late 1940s. Black with mostly
legible gold hand striped box pins. Has the top tube frame shifter, but will need
a new cable which i believe is fairly common, and tubes for the old tires. Has unusual
Schwinn Stainless rims and an early British I believe brake system. Some browning
to the fender braces but an easy scrub, or cad paint faux in. Nice project in an uncommon
color for these bikes and once part of the legendary Gary Porter Paramount collection
450.00 OBO plus whatever the shipping

Looks like a Philco English front "add-on" brake. They're interesting pieces of kit. I love my black 1947 3-speed New World with the stainless S6 wheels. They're underrated and perform especially well with the stainless S6 wheels.
