Superb TOC Troxel Star long spring leather saddle

Here's a superb, original, TOC/teens Troxel Star long spring leather saddle. Top is 10" x 7.75". The chassis features a long yoke with extension coils and single wire truss construction. The nickel shows some wear with most of the original finish remaining. The leather is soft, supple, and worn to an attractive deep mahogany color. Stitching is solid throughout. The flap stampings are fully legible as is the "Star" stamping on the saddle top. This saddle has aged more gracefully than most with the perfect mix of wear and patina for any standout TOC bicycle. Often associated with Iver Johnsons, this is a popular model saddle that doesn't show up very often. A very sweet original specimen priced just $130 higher than a replica. $515 shipped in the US.
