From a local estate here in Los Angeles...bike had been with the family for just over 20 years...late 90's they remembered.
Looking it over, nicely done, KD did excellent restoration on bicycle, paint, build etc, he was one of the best in the hobby for sure with a very large portfolio of nicely restored bikes. This one survived the years unscathed and I would say looks the same as
it must have when it was freshly restored. Has the rare large Firefly reflector on the back fender, correct drop stand,
restored (nickel) original Torrington Pedals, Big profile Torrington Half Moon bars and a high quality, most likely Hyperflight guy Waterfall Colson badge. No import or China short cuts on this one...beautiful bike. Original Jewel coke bottle grips, prewar headlight.
2000.00 as she sits! I doubt this bike was ever ridden since restored. Really beautiful bike.
May consider partial trade for Schwinn balloon stuff... parts, bikes, etc. Local PU is best
but I will ship, prefer U SHIP arrangement to leave the bicycle intact....
