Teens/20's frame ID?

This frame went on ebay recently. I wanted to grab it but it went to someone else. It looks like a Davis made frame? Can anyone identify it?

That was mine, it went to a fella in Texas. Not sure what it was as there were not any obvious telltale markers that I recognized. It came to me as a very amateur re-build/repaint with no badge and modern forks. I'd be curious to know what it was as well...
