I live for the CABE
I never imagined how complex it would be to Id a teens bike. My research took me to the Wheelman site where they had a list of over 2000 bikes. None were mine. I have spent hours on line and on this site learning the subtleties that would lead me to my bikes original maker. So here goes again. Badge reads Union Standard. I do have advertising mentioning the brand. My theory is that it was made by someone else. The fork appears to be an Excelsior. The frame based on my digging around appears to be Miami. Please look at the following pics and feel free to offer your thoughts. My thanks to everyone who responded to my previous post.

We have seen some Miami frames with supplemental stampings of “0” (and “S”), and “C” — maybe a Contracted bike to a hardware or sporting goods store?
For simplicity, I am calling my non-lug frame “S0-C” Miami-built Simmons a 1920. The lugged frames may have been earlier.
Also, I believe that those wheel people self-profess to be not much help about post WW1 bikes.

It almost looks like an offset crank hanger like the center drive but the fish mount joints look bigger to me. The head tube looks like Hercules construction to me also. Could the "C" mean Canadian?

I'm leaning more towards a Davis built but I'm probably wrong.

I'm thinking that red primer was used on Davis bikes also.

I believe that some Davis bikes might have a number (or letter?) stamped on the bottom bracket cups and the headset cups; since you have removed one, perhaps check the cup for any number stamp.
(Could have been replaced though).
