Teens Schwinn Excelsior archbar project.

This bike was seen when Chris posted it up a few weeks ago. I’ll be on the hunt for some parts, so if anybody has the following please send me a message.

Front and rear fenders
Correct chainring
Rear dropstand with know ears
And finally the square excelsior badge that mounts horizontally.

I pulled the crank and it said M or H 17. I can’t rememebr. I’ll probably hit it with some Wd40 and steel wool just to get some color back. I’m going to make a metal insert at work and play around with it. I really dig this frame design, And it’s a rider. Just not a long distance rider. lol. I’ll post up some pics as I go through it. It has a pretty killer patina. Just want to thank Chris and Mark for letting me take care of this one . @Robertriley @Kramai88

After I pulled the badge off it, I was doing a little research. I don’t think This bike is a excelsior I believe it is a schwinn built hawthorne. This is why. Check out Chitowns post in this thread.

Here’s the badge on my bike. And the hole spacing is correct. I think the square excelsior badge has a wider spacing.
