'Lil Knee Scuffer
Has anyone seen one of these or maybe period ads? It's "The Field" Model 14 from Marshall Field & Co, Chicago, and I suppose it's from the years around 1900, but about what year? Was the steel rims and the coaster hub standard, so it's from this side of 1900, or could those parts have been changed later? Is the "Paris" saddle period?
(Not mine, but I'm considering buying it)

I think the high frame, block chain, and one-piece bar & stem point to the 1890s. The hub brake and even the fenders could have been added after 1900. Nice bike! If you like it, buy it I say :)
