hey, folks!
i was curious about the approximate age of one of my old schwinns, did a quick google search, and found a thread from this place. it looks to be quite interesting and informative, so i went through the various registration steps, and, voila, yet another forum for me to check.

the great news is that i very quickly learned the info i was seeking, and i know there's lots more for me to learn from here, so thanks!
in brief, i'm a bike racer who has never been able to sell or get rid of a bike. consequently, i have a basement full of old cruisers, and old and new racing bikes.
anyway, i'm going to bundle up now and go ride my old [i now realize early 60s] schwinn tornado, as a part of my rehab [broken left clavicle sustained three weeks ago in a minor crash].
again, thanks to the powers that be and all of its members who have made this place the place it seems to be.
