Tire help for excelsior

Hello im trying to get my 20s excelsior up and running again. I thought i found a post that recommended buying schwalbe s-one. A 30-622 700x 30 tubular tire. However i cant seems to find that post. The inner diameter seems to fit the rim perfect but the width is off. I wanted to do a dry fit first befor i cement it in but now not sure.Im curious if anyone else could recommend tubuar tires or if gluing it down will make it wider.

I have never done it before; but I would think that gluing a 30mm wide tire will not make it 42mm wide.

Lol im not going for 42mm wide but i see your point. I probably miss read something and should have bought 35 instead of 30s

700×33 cyclocross from specialized.....widest i can find.....don't look bad.
