To all who responded with advice on improving the brakes on the 1983 Fuji Team….. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

I ended up installing a set of used Shimano 105 and Jagwire brake pads, and it’s like having a new bike. They work so well it actually took me a few brake pulls to get used to the amazing braking power with just a simple upgrade.

Yeah, it’s pretty tight, but I got lucky I guess, no rubbing. I had to fuss with the spacers a bit. It has transformed how well the bike stops.
