M & M cycle

Finally riding a big boys bike
Located in Eagle Lake MN, free shipping to the continental US only, Hi, this is a amazing antique bicycle, its a true time capsule, its a original paint Reliance bicycle from the Gendron wheel co. Toledo Ohio, with our research we believe it to be made around the year 1896, we think the tires read 28 S2 on the sidewall, we believe they are double tube, they were not glued to the rims and we took the front one off and it has stitching inside, they say Morgan & Wright Chicago with pat dates 1893, 1894, 1895, the tires are still soft and pliable, the front one actually still inflates and holds air for a few seconds the rear doesn't have the needle in the valve stem but I was able to use my blower bit and it would inflate that way but there was nothing there to keep the air in, the rear rim looks nice and still has a lot of the original paint, the front rim is matching paint but is broken and held together with wire, I'm not sure if it can be glued and repaired, the chain is complete but has a broken link, it to is held together with wire, the chainguard has a pat date or number on it, most of the original skirt guard is still in place, the seat reads EZ (easy) saddle, nice condition but the back is coming apart, both cork grips are nice and complete, the rat trap pedals spin freely and still have the spacers, the rear wooden fender is in remarkable condition for the bikes age, there is still quite a bit of the nickel plating on all the different nickel plated parts, I think the serial no. reads 87132 , there was a tool bag attached to the bike but it is very dry and brittle, it comes with the tools pictured, I think one of the items is a little hand pump, the bike should clean up nicely with a good detail, overall pretty good bike, we bought this bike from a family who inherited some property from a aunt that passed away, the bike was found in a spare bedroom in her home, the story handed down was a family member bought the bike new and crashed when the tire came off and got caught in the rim causing the rider to fall and break the front rim, I believe it could be true because I don't think either tire was ever glued to the rims, they both come off easily, either way the bike saw little action and has been preserved nicely for its age, $700 shipped, cash, personal check, postal money order, pay pal friends and family or ad 3%,
