TOC Cleveland crank removal help

I'm stumped on how to remove these cranks. The lock nut is smaller than the crank arm, so it won't pass. What am I missing?

Does the arm scerw out?

here is how they did it in 1893, maybe it will help. It looks like a keyway in the crank arm.

If there is a key or a pin, I sure can't see it.

I'm 99% sure the arm will unscrew off, and then the rest just pulled out threw the chain ring side.

I had a similar issue on my Rambler where the nut was smaller than the crank arm.
Turned out, this bike has a coupler inside the BB to connect the two halves of the crank.

Although your setup is different, I suspect you also have a multi piece crank that comes apart in the middle, somehow. This may help point you in the right direction.

That looks like the ticket. I removed the Oiler port and sure enough I can see the notch on the axle. I’ll try removing the cranks tomorrow. Thanks for the help!
