TOC Identification assistance

Recently bought this 23.5” safety. The crank assembly is not original, neither is thd head badge. However the paint IS original. Currently badged as an Amos and Frost Imperial. Badge fits well, but there is an oval shadow that shows that there was another badge.

Check the head set hardware, and the “D” shaped tubing used for the rear triangle. Also the seat post is a quil style post.

I know the bike and it was part of the ABC 1901 02 thing. Some of the companies went with merger others names absorbed by Columbia,Pope. If it rides good I hope then all is good.
