Very nice saddle.
I'm assuming the leather pads (originals?) are loose from their original gluing to the pan? (Especially if they went through the soda blasting process).
This is a good saddle and not showing any stress cracking from use or the original pressing process to form the pan. Also no signs of rust out in the long top depression from water/moisture collecting in them over the last 130 years!
it would be good to post a photo with the leather pads removed to show condition of the two depressions in that the leather pads weren't wet over many years causing rust spots in these two depressions.
I'm sure it will go to someone who knows it's value and appreciates this survivor.
Mike Cates, CA.

PS: DMC (Decorative Metal Coatings) in Oceanside, California (near me) does superb plating and has very reasonable prices. Master bicycle restorer Dick Rath from Florida sent me some parts to take to them for nickle plating and was VERY PLEASED when I sent him back the finished pieces. DMC does Polishing, Chrome, Nickle, Copper, and Brass plating. They also offer Powder Coating with all kinds of finishes. Check 'em out.
