Frame number B41421
Definitely rough but I think it's worth saving.

Where, how did you find it? I don't mean exact address[emoji16] but curious, sounds like an interesting story.

I'm in eastern Iowa. I was talking to a guy at work about old bikes & he sent me a picture of it. It has been in the family barn for ages.

The frame number listings are showing it to be a 1953 as far as I can tell.

It boils down to where the number is stamped. Under the crank it's a 46 and on the left rear dropout it could be a 52-53 or a 57. Very doubtful it's a 57 though.

I think saving it is fantastic. Pictures of restoration progression would be interesting. To me being a 1946 would be unusual since it's right after the war. Just my novice guess.
