Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
These came on a bike that was said to be restored 30 to 40 years ago. How can you tell real, from repops?

NiCE, At a glance and based on pics of repops they look legit to me. I see less end cap/plate printing on the repops, these clearly have a #10 and made in the U.S.A./The Torrington Company. I know some Torringtons had a seamed and tabbed shaft cover, these do not from what I can see. If catfish has OG #10's and they are seamed and tabbed, perhaps that's your answer. I don't think I have an original set anymore. My Monark Elgin ( sold to Cooter over 15 years ago) had OG 10's if I recall, and don't see a seam/tabs, but pic isn't that clear. I remember Torrington 8's having a seam/tabs.
