offered here are torrington 10's late production-the last made in the u.s.a. . torrington stopped making these pedals in 1982. i believe the expression is too little/too late. these come up and the quality is lacking the look of the prewar pedals. it seems an attempt to capture/cash in on the vintage bike crowd but it didn't take off. today collectors have questions about if they are a repop-well yes and no. being made by the original maker they are just a later version. the end stamping wasn't as fresh and the plating lesser quality. block pins are still attached/press fitted. they are genuine torrington pedals and marked made in u.s.a. still very nice and mechanically sound-a quality item in their own right. priced right for the modern collector. free shipping

What are these? I just bought a vintage bicycle equipped with these. They appear to be Torrington 10s, but the inscription doesn’t match any I’ve seen. Around the round end cap it reads: TORRINGTON WESTFIELD MASS. I am not aware Torringtons were ever produced in Westfield. They are in immaculate condition, could they be an imposter? Thanks.
