I think those blocks are for # 4's. They came out in 1921.

The 6 is for a ladies pedal to go along with the 8 for the mens??? I think? Late 20's to early-late 30's.

bicyclebones has some nos ones.

So a Frankenpedal?

The # 1's (1919ish) had the diamond blocks like the earlier Pirate model:

O.k. I have a question. If the 4 is adult size and the 5 is childs. My one pedal is a 6 with 4 inch blocks, clearly adult size. My pedal had never been apart before I disassembled it. The pedal shafts is tapered. The block studs don't attach like the pictures of the 4's.

NOT a Frankenpedal!

1922 is when they came out with the #6 pedal!

I am pretty sure though that the #6 pedals bicyclebones has are the 30's version which are 3" blocks.

I have Torrington #6 pedals on my Iver bike, but the pedal shaft is not tapered.

( Removed from the bike for cleaning & will be put back. Not for sale)

These are Torrington #10 pedals.

Not sure what the significance of the end cap numbers indicate, but both sizes fit the 4" Torrington blocks.

where did you find these pix? from google books?

I have a 3D scanner and printer. I can print pedal blocks in a rubber like material. I have reproduced lots of different bike parts which I sell on ebay. If someone is willing to lend me a script block to scan, I will see if I can make a decent reproduction. If the repro is successful (looks good), who ever loans me the block gets a free repro block shipped back with the original.
