Touch up paint? Perfect (or as close as can be) match?

Looking for touch up paint for a 1971 Schwinn Racer. Red in color, research is telling me Garnet Red. Went to a local paint shop and they tried to match up to my chain guard but it was either too dark or too light. No metallic either. The factory paint has a tinge of metallic.

Any good sources?

Im not sure, but I think the metallic color comes from the aluminum coating underneath it. Maybe it will help you
