Not yet, that may be next. Just thought I would see if there was anybody local that might want to get involved
I work in a shop and did a resto-repair on an 1934 Sterling last year. Here's a link to post I made: https://thecabe.com/forum/threads/1934-sterling-refurbish.239974/ . I did the estimate and the work.

I looked at your picture. Let's make a couple of assumptions. 1) The frame, fork, and wheels are not dangerously rusted. 2) The bike is not rusted shut and can be disassembled.

If that is the case, tires and tubes are about $100, labor to repack all the bearings, adjust everything, and reassemble is $250 to $300. Throw in a new chain, some replacement bearings, new grips, pedals, etc. and you will be over $450. If you need wheels and are willing to put modern replacements on, they are about $100 each.

If you brought this into my shop, and I decided the frame wasn't unsafe, I could do the work. It would a full day or more of a mechanic's time. I do like projects like this and bringing a old bike back to riding condition is very satisfying.

I would suggest to you find another bike in better overall condition before you started. It would not cost any less, but the finished result would be much nicer. You might even be able to find a bike like the one in this link and get a great looking rideable bike rather than put a lot of money into one with so much rust. (not my link or sale, just something I found on The CABE in a search)

Have you spoken to your local bike shop?

i would probably part this one out and take the money a get a better condition one. Just the deep fenders with light would probably get you about $175. Fork assembly will get you a decent dollar.
