Junkhunter

Finally riding a big boys bike
Picked this one up at a flea market. Tires are shot. Can someone ID it? I know the grip doesn't belong. It just came with it. Thats how I got it. Pedals are shot. Fork had been welded. Mainly got it for the saddle and the "look". Thanks in advance.

Pretty cool looking, and I think I know the maker. The seat, rear step plate design, and handlebar stem pointing straight out were all features of late 1930s Mercury models made by Murray Ohio. Siebert also used a very similar handlebar stem but that's the only feature on this trike that has a Siebert look. My vote is for Mercury.

Oh, and I wouldn't necessarily dismiss the grip as not being an original because that's the style Mercury models of the time were equipped with.
