Trojan 24” how much is original?

Just got this for $50 wondering what is original going to build it with my son he is 7 so it will b his thanks for your help also what year it is and any other info u wanna tell me

Looks like a 1950's Cleveland Welding Co. built bike. CWC did use a "Trojan" label.

The details of the seat post clamp, and the rear fork tringle plates, may indicate a no older than date.

Looks like '53 to me. I'd say complete/correct/crusty. V/r Shawn

You'll want to turn the stem around so the handle bars are centered over the axle. Otherwise it's like steering with a tiller on a boat.

Well my son can steer a boat lol but we already turned the bars around he has picked out a reallly wide set of handlebars from my stash that prolly won’t work we r just gonna lube it and let him ride it when I ride my rusty x53 thanks for everyone’s help about what is original
