I live for the CABE
Found these cleaning out a basement the other day. Definitely original. Prob 5-6 condition. I’d call them “display set “.
Due to some cracking . W-W looks decent in all areas. I think they were used. But not left uninflated for long periods of time as some I’ve seen. 26” version. My question is how to read the date. I took many pics. I see and UA, or JA on both. One is more clear then the other. One has og tube as well.
Thanks for the help.

Cool. Great to see that chart again. The history is all part of the fun and original rubber tells part of the tale. I have 80 year old tires that look better than Chinese ones made 2 years ago. Some of them look new. The Typhoons on the 20" Hornet are NOS, as are the green Goodyear G-3's and 26" w/w. That said, for everyday riding, sometimes the repops ( especially John's chain treads) are the way to go. Higher pressure, easier pedalling, generally safer. I've been lucky to have owned ( sold most reluctantly/ G-3 blues for example, now with a Caber) many excellent rare original vintage bicycle tires in my 40 years in the hobby.
