John Gailey

I live for the CABE
This gem was acquired from the interweb. It appears to be a LWB Colson. For a prewar bike, it has some blinding flaws. I think I have enough in my stash to bring it around. A question about the crank and chainring. I believe this should have a sweetheart chainring. Would the crank be a standard dogleg or does it need something Colson specific? Any input is helpful. Cheers

Chain ring is 70's Huffy, guards not, but looks like 52 Schwinn.

I saw that relisted on eBay a couple of times, but someone finally snagged it. Looks like a 36LWB with the correct fenders, but one replaced brace. Rear lower fender bridge is missing. Not sure about that fork, but could be a lower-end bike sans truss rods. She's rough(as most of these tend to be), but where there's a will there's a way. Good luck with your project.

Here's my '37 for reference.
