Un rideable bicycle mod

If you turned the stem toward you would it help as in backing up a trailer?

Maybe if your brain isn't so good with backing up trailers. Unfortunately I learned using a UHaul car dolly & car trailers when I scrapped metal (Never Vintage Bikes); well not anything from the 60s or older. Does those gears remind you of the gears used on floor jacks to loosen/tighten the handle? I would like to try this for giggles. I have cheap bikes so

Luckily I personally don't have trouble backing trailers (good thing I used to boat/fish) but that's what they say to do grasp the bottom of the vehicles wheel and turn around and back up. It works, but I don't like it.... lol.
Yea similar gears I believe.
