I can usually identify older trikes by certain design features but this one has me stumped. I can only guess it is late art deco around the early 1940s. The seat style would fit that time period or anywhere in the 1940s for that matter. If earlier, it probably would have a more streamlined style seat. The semi-pneumatic tires also point more to somewhere in the 1940s. I don't believe this dates as late as the early 1950s due to the deco-ish frame design, but I could be wrong. Hope someone can shed some light on a maker and more accurate dating of it for you. Interesting find!

Sure seems to have some Murrayesque/Mercury features e.g. fork and step plate? V/r Shawn

Hard to nail it 100%
Look like it’s missing front fender
Repainted throws off the guess some
Unusual over the top neck looks very similar to one
Used on Elgin Tricycles
Has some characteristics of a Red Bird
But not exactly
Rear steps look like American National
I’d agree looks like a 40’s trike
Cool little Trike good luck with Search
