Unknown head badge CROWN Erie Penna.

Hi, I'm looking for some information on this head badge. I can't find any info about a bike company by the name Crown in Erie, PA. Might not be for a bike?
Any help is much appreciated!
The badge is made of heavy brass and just under 2" tall.
