On Training Wheels
Hello,
I got this old saddle here. Until now I coudn't figure out the manufacturer, time and to which bike it might belonged.
For me it looks pretty much like a american one end of the 19th/ beginning of the 20th century. For this period I don't know much yet.
But maybe here the specialists will something know about it.
I would really

News: Thanks heaps to andybee75, cause he identified the whereabouts of my saddle:
"I can confirm that this is a saddle belonging to the company who made Swedish Crescent bikes, VelocipedAktiebolaget August Lindblad in Stockholm. (VAAL on the saddle with their characteristic wheel and wing symbol). It's from 1910-20's. It was used on several brands from this company, amongst them Crescent and Drott were the most common."
Very nice!
