As stated in first post it's a universal guard but finding it on two similar era bikes by the same maker suggests it may have been typically sold as such.
Your post brings up a question--I have an immediately post-war CWC that, like yours , has the seat clamp factory brazed to the seat tube. Was this a constant throughout production for CWC?
