Hello everyone! i have this 1939 Schwinn in black/blue, i was wondering what color the pin stripes would have been, i originally thought ivory, but the very faint remaining stripes look darker. I should also mention the bike was resprayed red by the same dealer it was originally sold from in the 50's so the red could have just bled into the stripes, i also thought i read somewhere that on the dark on dark color combos, Schwinn would also use gold pins. I would also love to see any other bikes in these colors, if any others exist. Thanks in advance!
those little specs of white were from when i temporarily re-striped it after i removed the red respray.
