Wore out three sets of tires already!
Revised Pricing: I guess my asking price is to high so I reduced the price. $675.00 for the bike without the tank and $925.00 for the bike and the tank. This is a really nice all original balloon tire bike with real nice S2 wheels, paint and chrome. Add a rear rack and a phantom light and you have a B6.
Updates/Revisions to my original post - Optional Tank
If anyone is interested I do have a 1959 Tank that really looks good on the bike. I added photos with the tank installed.
There is no indication that a tank was ever installed on this bike.
1959 Schwinn Wasp in really nice condition (58 years old).
The bike does have some scratches but minimal for the year.
The fenders are almost ding free except for a slight ding just above the rear fender reflector.
The seat was reupholstered by Bob U.
The chrome is exceptional even including the S2 wheels.
I attached the leather Schwinn bag on the handlebars to stash the headlight so it did not get banged up.
If I were to suggest any negative aspects about this bike is that the spokes will need to be cleaned and the one rear fender brace has a bend in it.
The photo's present the condition of this bike very well.
