Hello all. I bought two old Schwinn Varsities from a farmer for cheap, and was lucky enough to come across this forum. Since I am just retiring, I thought I would start to learn the bicycle mechanic trade in earnest. A buddy of mine also has one, in nice shape, and he wants me to go over it. While I am waiting on my FR-4, I was wondering if anyone knew off hand what the spoke size for the Varsity - a '73/'74/'75 - are? Front, rear NDS/DS. I have yet to take one off the front wheel. I appreciate your time, and suspect there is a lot to be learned on this site. Although, from what I have seen so far, 70's era bikes don't come close to being old. Thank you.
