VEITH 28" TIRES ?

trying to figure out these 28" x 1 1/2" veith tires, made in germany

anyone heard of these ? i googled them and nothing came up, are these original antique tires or some kind of after market thing anything helps thanks

Not sure about the era of the tires but are they clincher?

They have the patina and crackling that suggests they have some age to them.

Hi,

If they had been made postwar, up until German reunification in 1990, they would be likely to say "Made in West Germany", so since they don't look newer than 1990, I'm guessing they are pre WW2.
