Very large new departure bearings

Hi, hoping someone out there in the Cabe universe can help me with this. I have had this one set of bearings for about 25 years and have never seen another and can't figure out what it belongs to. It came to me with a bunch of new departure and morrow coaster brake parts but pretty sure it's too big to be bicycle. maybe motorcycle? The bearings themselves measure 1/2" in diameter and the cage is just shy of 2 1/2". The last picture gives you a good idea of how large these are compared to a normal bottom bracket bearing. Any input would be greatly appreciated. thank you

automotive wheel bearings I have those in my 1913 Maxwell their are 1,000 of different sizes
