Very Large Persons Saddle - pun intended

Has anyone run across one of these before? Just over 12 inches wide. Has a Western Flyer tag on the back. I am thinking perhaps a tricycle or exercise bike?

Had one in the 80's ,mine had only a persons tag not western flyer.
