I just joined the British Veteran Cycle Club-

And I am very impressed! The main draw for me was that with membership you get access to the National Cycle Collection online library of catalogs, pictures, books etc. all 5,347 documents as of today. It's a treasure trove of useful information covering Draisiennes to the present day.

But wait, there's more! Three times a year their magazine The Boneshaker comes out. The latest issue is 55 glossy illustrated pages of bicycle history articles like those in the Cycle History proceedings. Six times a year, the other magazine News and Views comes out- not a two sheet flyer of ride reports, want ads and club gossip but again 55 glossy pages of recently discovered bikes, want ads, articles, and yes, ride reports want ads and club gossip. As far as I'm concerned its about $60.00 US well spent to keep my inner bike geek happy.
