What a great story Marty.
A big thank you to all the men and women of the armed forces, thank you all for your unselfish dedicated service.

Also like to thank my father (RIP) for his service to our great Country, US Army Veteran, Korea.

can't get away from the house right now, no military bikes here to gaze at, but am spending the day with some things that helped service members get to lunch on time.
some of them came this way with the band or strap that the original owner wore so that's how they've remained.
betting more than one of these clocked some bicycle time bitd.

Sadly, I'm still not able to physically ride at the moment.
I would have ridden "Inconnu" if I could.
My French bike that dates from just before the first world war.
Sadly also, due to our second national lockdown over here, group rides are currently forbidden.
Here's a couple of photos from our Remembrance Day ride last year.....

This years ride of choice, was the 1940 Dayton Mainliner.
