Rent a bike and beat the living dog sh*t out of it.

Then deny everything as you return it.

Isn't there a shop down there in san diego called rusty spokes?? Check it out Danny. Better yet just cruise up and down ocean beach and people watch. Lots of Antique stores around there too.

Dave at rusty spokes is one hell of a guy...
As you could see there is really nothing but scraps left. He used to have that shop packed full of bikes and parts. Now what is left is rusting away outside.
Did you find anything?

He used to have STACKS of skiptooth chainrings. Are all of those gone? I'm sure there could be some nice garage hangers in there. All of them looked pretty crusty but there could have been some unique ones in there.

I found a few smalls, a straight set of 26" triple drops and to my shock and amazement, I found a chainguard for a mercury pacemaker... I had to ship them back as im about to get on a plane and head to the bay area.

there are tons of really old small kids and girls seats. I was a bit stuck on time and space, but i do want to come back

no chain rings did I see...
