Vintage Elgin info

My buddy just picked up a what looks to me to be a 40 or 41 Elgin but if anyone has any more info on it please let me know serial number is pretty rough.

Any help is much appreciated

Nice bike.
Looks like either a Westfield-built 1940–E or 1941–F, with an additional H10 stamp.
The Musselman coaster brake hub might also be stamped with a date code.
