Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Looking for one or two original EAGLE HIGHWHEEL SAFETY PEDALS.
These pedals are unique as they have 2 rods (one through rod and one through rod with threaded ends for end nuts) going through each pedal rubber as this bicycle was pedal mounted and the two rods kept the rubbers from spinning on the sole of your shoe when mounting.
There are stamped letters and numbers on the faces or the outer end plates around the two end nuts that read E.B. CO. stamped radially around one nut and PATENT DATES stamped radially around the other nut. Be sure to also check the inner end plate faces as the pedal could have been reversed or end plates could have been swapped if previously disassembled.
Will buy outright OR trade for things I have so let me know what you need as I may have it and not listed it on the CABE yet.
Keep me on your "LOOK OUT LIST" for your future finds at swap meets, etc.
