that comes to mind is the H-D fork.
Davis did use a three-plate fork .. Orient-Type ..
that had those three plates forming a honey-
comb feature. This is also the style of the Dav-
is truss-rod fork. I do not have one of these

jacket ... very tall steer-tube available. It is a
H-D fork.
