Hi, I need a SA cable for a 1955 Schwinn lightweight with SA 3 speed set up. I have the shifter and hub and a cable in horrible condition. It measures 18" housing and 55 1/2" total length. The shifter has just a small hole for where the cable goes, not a key hole shaped slot so I am not sure what kind of ferrule should be at shifter end. Any info helps or the actual correct cable in good usable condition would be great, thanks, Eric.

You have the early type shifter that the cable stop screws into.
I have two NOS Grey sets, very close in size; 56-1/4" L x 18-1/2" housing (Schwinn) and 54-1/2" L x 17" housing (Clark). These can be made to work by moving the Cable stop clamp or the Pulley location on the frame a little.
$25 for Schwinn and $20 for Clark "Makol". delivered in USA
