Huffman built, for Montgomery Ward; not familiar enough with those to distinguish between 1948 or 1958. I would lean toward the later, with the 1/2” pitch drive train.
Is that a 24"? I'm betting on 1948 and thinking the serial should have been on the dropout in 58. Also, the chainguard looks earlier.
Here is a 1947 Huffman-built Firestone Pilot from the Huffman serial number thread. It seem to have a lot in common with this bike.

The aluminum head badge was used 1948-9, and possibly late deluxe '47's.
